about

Originally the Pigface song, 'Chikasaw', it then morphed into 'Carondelet' on the original 'Salt Peter'.

It was written about my time living in London, as a young woman, being constantly sexually harassed in the street every time I left my home.

That was 30 years ago! This shit still goes on, every day, all across the world, to millions of women and girls. This shit needs to be stamped out. This shit needs zero tolerance. How can you live with this shit going on?

Call it out, point the finger of condemnation wherever it raises its' ugly head. This shit will only change when men decide they won't tolerate misogyny in other men, so, men, please be an ally.

Carondelet (Me Too mix)
Bawnooo....

I feel like burning this town

This fear is bringing me down
I feel like breaking this town

This fear is burning me now
How can you live with this shit going on - every day is more wrong

I feel like burning this town - I know it's not mine

My fear is walking around - Is this all I can get now

How can you live now

To be there is all i can do - Is that so wrong
Just one care is all i can find - now it's gone

I'd open my heart just to see - What's inside
A mountain of raw that's too big to hide

How can you live now

When i say i love you i know that i lie
But it feels so good to scream it out loud
At least i try

This fear this fear is burning me now - Is this all I can get now
This fear this fear this fear is burning me down - It’s all wrong
This fear this fear is burning me now - Is this all I can get now
This fear this fear this fear is burning me down - It’s all wrong
My fear is walking around..........

How can you live now
